The Collection
The collection at Buckland Cottage Gardens is made up of 23 species and inter specific hybrids.
A main interested in the collection is Cyclamen hederifolium
Cyclamen Seed
The seed is sold as ‘open pollinated’, this is due to the chance of cross pollination with other plants growing in the same space. Pollinators and wind can cause pollen to go from one plant to another.
Seed is best sown late summer through to autumn for the best germination rate, although seed can be sown at any time.
