Horticultural Talks
I currently offer four plant lectures, they can be either in person or via Zoom.
- Alpines, of all sizes
- Delving into Desirable Daphnes
- Cyclamen
- Miniature Daffodils, looking at the future of breeding and growing from seed
Buckland Cottage Gardens started up in the year beginning 2025, along side part time employment in the family retail garden centre, LongAsh Garden Centre.
My interest kicked started with growing Daphnes and Alpines as a hobby. Which now has expanded to a significant collection of miniature bulbs and an increasing hybridising programme with Daphnes, Cyclamen and miniature bulbs.
My passion in horticulture sees me playing committee roles within the local Alpine group, trustee of The Cyclamen Society and the U.K representative for The International Geraniaceae Group. Currently a member of the RHS Alpine and Rock Garden expert group.
