This was a chance plant which popped up from a purchased corm of G. stefaniae, an autumn flowering species which flowers are to be bright red.
The growth habit of the plant suggests to have stefaniae but to have crossed with another species to bring out this wonderful peachy pink colour flower.
Anne Wright of Dryad Nursery, passed on the Hepatica collection to us. We are delighted to now hold some exciting species, cultivars and seedlings which were apart of her breeding programme.
In time I shall be highlighting and showing these plants as they flower and reach flowering size.
